Location: East Lake Street & 27th Avenue South
A single police car has recently been stationed on the north side of the street at this intersection, next to a “Stop Police Brutality” message on the boarded windows of the Coliseum Building. This day a gentleman named did his small part to show appreciation for the officer in the car—he dismounted his scooter, walked to the car, and offered the officer some candy.
If we can all view each other as people, some day the message may become obsolete.
