Location: ALDI, 2929 27th Avenue South
Once a food desert, Longfellow is gaining more sources of fresh, healthy edibles. Last week a large ALDI store opened adjacent to the location on 27th Avenue South which had housed a Rainbow Foods for decades. The new store has easy to navigate aisles, many seasonal and party items, a broad variety of ethnic foods, and a good selection of produce, including organic fruits and vegetables.
