Veterans Day – “A time to reflect and celebrate and honor our veterans and families for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.”
Veterans Day events where held at the Minnesota State Veterans Home, There are 341 residents residing at this campus, which is located on the south edge of Greater Longfellow beyond Minnehaha Park. Quietly nestled in a beautiful secluded area along the Mississippi River south of Wabun Picnic Area. The events were hosted by 7th District VFW and VFW Auxiliary of Richfield. Including an extensive program, complete with speakers, music, family, friends, volunteers, and neighbors, followed by refreshments and socializing, and fellowship.
