Just your neighborhood dog park. Located between Minnehaha Falls and Coldwater Spring Recreational Area, this park offers more than 6 acres of wooded paths, beaches, and open spaces for local canines, as well as their humans, to run, socialize, and breathe some fresh air.

On few occasions do you get this many choices for parking on a Saturday at 2:00pm at the dog park lot at Minnehaha Falls.

It’s been a pleasure serving as the Tuesday photographer for the Longfellow 365 project this year! I started this project as a newcomer to Minnesota, having moved here in July 2015. Each weekly photo pushed me to get to know our neighborhood and neighbors better, and for that, I thank you!
Allow me to introduce the crew behind each Tuesday photo, from left: George (boxer): Location Scout; Kristen, Photographer; Linde (pointer mix): Photo Editing Assistant, Couch Cuddles Division; Steven, Photo Selection Superstar (whom I thank for 52 weeks of “so, Photo A, or Photo B?”)
Thanks, Longfellow, for a wonderful year!

Anni is a black lab mix who loves walks on the beach, making new friends, playing chase and running the trails of the Minnehaha Off-Leash Dog Park. Fall is one of the most beautiful times to be at the park.
