The Year that Was

This was the year that was, oh, such a wild year. It started out like any other, then came COVID-19 and everyone was suddenly at home. Despite the pandemic the streets were filled with civil unrest over the killing of George Floyd, then empty again–emptier than they had been. Those at risk continued to be at home, my family among them. It’s been a real year.
