Block by Block

Neighbors on 42nd Avenue South are coming together to keep our neighborhood safe. May 30th was the first meeting to organize a block watch. About 75 people came up with a plan and two shifts to cover 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. during the Minneapolis curfew. No more fires or looting if we can help it. Our fire fighters and peace officers haven’t been able to respond enough with all that is going on. Before this effort we were feeling helpless, but working together provides the much needed feeling of hope.
