Location: Minneapolis Veterans Home, 5101 Minnehaha Avenue
This time capsule was discovered 75 years after it was hidden in the cornerstone of a Minneapolis Veterans Home Building 9. The lead capsule is permanently on display at the Museum in the main building.
“The lead box contained everything from military newspapers and photographs to a book about Native American leader Hiawatha and a collection of memorial addresses by President Abraham Lincoln.”
