Twisty Branch – Part 1

20180127HauserLocation: West River Parkway just south of Lake St

If it’s possible to have a favorite branch, this is mine. But I realized recently (because of this project) that I’ve only photographed it in the fall – when the leaves are in full-on orange and red knock-your-socks-off gorgeousness. I had no idea what it looks like the rest of the year! Turns out, while much more subtle, it’s still beautiful in the winter. I’ll go back to this spot during the year, to see how the twisty branch and neighboring foliage transforms.
