Work continues at Sanford Middle School as walls are torn down and the building is opened up. Designed by Miller Dunwiddie Architecture, plans for the expansion and renovation include a new main entrance on 42nd Avenue, a new gymnasium, the addition of 10 new classrooms, and the installation of air conditioning throughout the building. Construction is scheduled to continue through August of 2016. And despite the extensive work, school remains open.
