The Acme Building is an example of industrial architecture from the beginning of the last century, located at 32nd Street and Hiawatha Avenue, at the entryway to Longfellow from the west. I find the varied conglomerations of pipework and such on its roof fascinating; my family wonders if one would see Toons with beeping mallets coming out the door, if only one waited long enough.
