While many of us in Longfellow love the wide variety of Little Free Libraries and their contents, not everyone is so appreciative. This lovely example of the concept on Minnehaha Avenue was intentionally burned by a person or persons unknown. It is sad when residents, or those merely passing through, show so little respect for the environment and others’ attempts to improve it and share with the community.

I do not know who the owners are. It is located on the East side of Minnehaha Avenue, right where they are working on the street. If you drive by you could probably talk with the owners.
I went over there and provided the owner, whose name is Mary, with the email address an you should be hearing from her.
