just noticed that the Minnesota School of Barbering used to be a grocery, long ago. Perhaps the facade will be reconfigured and needs to be exposed first. While passing on Lake Street, the newest business, a tattooist, is juxtaposed on the Barber School (a long-time business whose haircuts have increased in price by 75% since I first lived in the neighborhood in the mid-90s and are still a bargain), Riverlake Racing and Lige’s which are of longer standing. The neighborhood and its service businesses change, and we have now come full circle with a grocery two blocks down the street.
