In the first daytime hours of a snow emergency, a driver “cleans up” the street after the first plow has passed, on 44th Avenue South, at East 38th Street. Keeping parking lanes open and traffic flowing with wide enough lanes for transit and delivery vehicles is critical for an urban neighborhood.
