I was biking by Longfellow Park and noticed that the ice rink had turned into Longfellow Lake. I took photos of mallards and stacked wood boards for the ice rink, but settled on this one of footprints crossing one of the infields. Only after taking the photo was I reminded of a similar photo and accompanying poem, Footprints in the Sand, that my parents had growing up.
